SOAS (Supporters of All Saints) is a nondenominational registered charity to preserve the medieval church building which stands at the heart of our village heritage. Membership subscriptions are discretionary with a minimum of £3 per person or £5 per family per year. Other income is derived from a programme of social/cultural events held in the church or the All Saints Community Hall.
Cultural and social events are organised throughout the year and are extremely popular, since its inception in 1995 SOAS has raised in excess of. £39,000. A small dedicated team make and sell Birthday and Christmas cards using recycled materials. SOAS makes its presence known at all village functions such as fetes and bazaars and via a page in the Melbourn Magazine.
This medieval treasure was built mid 13th C and SOAS is dedicated to passing it on in good order for future Melbournians.
SOAS extends a hearty welcome to new members – if you are a newcomer to the village there is no better way of getting to know people.
