The new All Saints’ Community Hall was funded by the generosity of local individuals, businesses and local government departments for use by all the local community organisations that need an indoor space for holding meetings and other events.
The Community Hall is run by a small committee of volunteers within a defined constitution which has registered charity status and although it is not run for a profit, it is necessary to make a charge to cover the cost of its use. The charging structure will favour local charitable organisations within the funding available from the overall hiring revenues and running costs.
In order to maintain a low hire rate it is necessary to use the Community Hall as much as possible to cover the annual fixed costs such as ground rent, insurance and maintenance.
